We have children attending our school who live in Hernhill or the surrounding villages, as well as many from the towns of Whitstable and Faversham. There is no 'catchment area' as it depends each year on the families that apply for a place.
Voluntary controlled schools, such as Hernhill, have Kent County Council as their admissions authority. Details can be found on the KCC website.Click here for full details of KCC admissions criteria for 2018/19

If your child is already at primary school and you wish to move them to Hernhill, you need to apply for an in-year admission place.
You are invited to ring us to arrange a visit. If you decide you would like a place in a year group for your child, you will need to complete the In-Year application form and return it to us.
There is no guarantee that we will be able to offer your child a place. You should not remove your child from their current school before you have an offer of a place at another school.
