Welcome to Hernhill Church of England Primary School
"We are a community with a Christian ethos where the spiritual, moral and intellectual talents of our children are nurtured..."
We are a school where our children are welcomed, valued as individuals and are encouraged to achieve well, making the most of their abilities, talents and skills, through the full curriculum and the many extra curricular clubs run by the teachers.
Hernhill is a one form entry Church of England primary school, with 200 children enjoying learning in their purpose built school, which replaced the Victorian site in 2004. We have a good link with the local church, St. Michael’s, and the vicar Reverend Jean visits the school each week.
Our children, through our ‘people rule’ learn to respect and understand the needs and opinions of others, whilst taking into account their own.
Our parent community is supportive of our school’s caring ethos and through the active PTAFA and volunteer help, many parents are in school on a regular basis.
Visitors tell us that they receive a warm welcome from our staff and pupils. I invite you to explore our school’s site, to find out more about the school of which we are very proud.
Don't forget our charity day this Thursday (19th Jan)
Wear something blue, bring a £1.00 donation and a toilet roll tube. Help us to raise money to twin our target number of toilets!
Make sure you have ordered your special "Charity Day lunch."
